Featured med

Fluoxetine was the first of the SSRIs, released in the US Dec 29 1987, and still a mainstay of treatment for many conditions ranging from anxiety disorders to OCD to PTSD to premature ejaculation. It was the first of a long line of SSRIs that have come to dominate prescribing practices of many clinicians around the world. Initially touted as being effective and well-tolerated, both of those assumptions have come under serious scrutiny in more recent years.
