TiHKAL (an acronym for Tryptamines i Have Known And Loved) is a 1997 book by Alexander Shulgin and Ann Shulgin, published by Transform Press. It is the companion volume to PiHKAL: where PiHKAL covers the phenethylamines, TiHKAL covers the tryptamines. Like its predecessor it is in two parts, an autobiographical narrative and a detailed compendium of tryptamine compounds, many of them first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin. TiHKAL is a primary historical source for the tryptamine psychedelics.
